Summer at Guthrie (K–6th)
Run by The Guthrie School
A private school in Allen that keeps kids learning all summer. Mornings are a teacher-led class in reading, writing, grammar, math and speaking, with each week standing on its own so vacations are easy to work around. Afternoons are optional themed camps in two blocks, from science and geography to LEGO, art and novel studies, plus ISEE test prep for older kids. Care runs from 8:00 to 6:00, so it works as a full workday.
