Tips for parents

  • Check the experience level. A “rock band” week for experienced players is very different from an intro camp.
  • Ask whether instruments are provided or kids bring their own.
  • Pack hearing protection for band camps with drums and amps.

Common questions

Does my child need to play an instrument already?

Not for intro camps. Band and performance camps often ask for some prior lessons; the camp’s description says which.

How much do music camps cost?

Among the 2 music camps we list with published prices, weekly prices start at $300 and go up to about $550 (2026 prices). Full-day, extended care and member rates vary, so check each camp’s page for details.

When does registration open for music camps?

None of these camps have announced their next registration date yet. Most post summer dates in January or February, and popular weeks fill quickly. Sign up for registration alerts so you don’t miss opening day.
