What camps have told us so far

  • Frisco School of Music & Performing Arts says registration for its 2027 camps opens in January 2027. See the camp.
  • School of Rock Frisco says its summer camp deals are usually announced around November. See the camp.
  • Camp Play Frisco, the City of Frisco’s day camp, was full for summer 2026, so plan to register as soon as 2027 sign-ups open. See the camp.
  • Frisco ISD’s 2026 camps had a separate registration deadline for each week, so check each week you want. See the camp.

How to be ready on registration day

  1. Pick your weeks first. Frisco ISD’s last day of school is Friday, May 14, 2027, so summer camp weeks start May 17. Mark family trips and the weeks you need full-day coverage.
  2. Choose a first and second choice for each week, so you’re not deciding while spots disappear. The summer planner can suggest options for each child.
  3. Create your account on the camp’s site ahead of time. Many registration systems need a parent account, child details and sometimes medical information before you can book.
  4. Have payment ready. Many camps take a deposit or full payment at sign-up.
  5. Set a reminder. Add the opening date to your calendar from the camp’s page, or get registration alerts.
  6. Ask about sibling and multi-week discounts before you pay, and check the cancellation policy.

Dates and policies come from each camp's own announcements. Always confirm on the camp's website before registration day.

Common questions

When does summer camp registration open in Frisco?

It varies by camp. Many post next summer's dates and open sign-ups in winter or early spring, and some popular camps fill quickly. The table on this page lists every 2027 opening date camps have announced so far, and we update it as new dates are posted.

What if a camp is already full?

Join the waitlist if there is one, and keep checking. Families change plans, especially in the weeks before summer. Our planner can also suggest other camps that run the same week for your child's age.

How can I get reminded before registration opens?

Sign up for registration alerts, or add a camp's opening date to your calendar from its page. In the planner, one button adds every opening date in your plan to your calendar.
